Growing up, I was always athletic. I played sports for most of my life and loved being active but somehow I was always "bigger" than I felt like I should be. I honestly cannot remember a time where I didn't struggle with my weight and self confidence. Thankfully I found a love for exercise and fitness and decided to make it my career. I am passionate about helping people find their confidence and improving their health.
In 2018, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a business minor and started dialing in my own way of coaching and helping people. During this time, I experienced the rollercoaster ride of being both overweight and underweight. I went from 200 lbs in 2018 to a mere 129 lbs at then end of 2019, and now I'm at 170 lbs. Which feels like a healthy and sustainable weight for me. But it's not just about the numbers on the scale, it's about being stronger, more confident, and overall, happier with my body.
I've learned the hard way when it comes to weight loss and I know firsthand the difficulties that come with both ends of that spectrum.
